Lao Disabled Women's Development Center
It is a non-profit organization approved by the Lao Ministry of Social Welfare and Labor and staffed by women with disabilities for women with disabilities. Originally founded in 1990 as a sewing group in the home of director Madam Champen Sibylla, the group originally taught women with disabilities the art of sewing and pattern making. In 2002, the Lao Women's Group with Disabilities became the Lao Disabled Women's Development Center.
